Toned Arms

Girls are always telling me that they want toned arms, but they don't want to look "bulky", so they tend to shy away from the weights.

Ladies, please! Do not be afraid of the weights, you do not have enough testosterone to become huge and bulky... it wont happen. I promise.

Here's what I do for most of my arm days...

Drop Sets (try to do this whole thing twice)

Drop sets are great because they ensure that you are using every ounce of your energy during your sets by varying your muscle engagement.

3 sets

1st set - Use the lightest weight comfortable for you (don't go too light, you still want to get a good workout) I usually do about 10 lbs.

- 10 lbs, 15 reps

2nd set - Use medium weight. I usually do about 12-15 lbs.

- 12 - 15 lbs, 12 reps

3rd set - This will be your heaviest weight. I usually do 15 - 20 lbs.

- 15 - 20 lbs, 10 reps.

Push-Ups

Three sets of 10. Feel free to take a 30 second break in between sets.

Pull-ups

Three sets of 3-5. If you are at a gym and need to modify these, feel free to keep your knees on the little pad (see below)
